“A supernova (pl. supernovae) is a stellar explosion. Supernovae are extremely luminous and cause a burst of radiation that often briefly outshines an entire galaxy, before fading from view over several weeks or months.” ~Wikipedia

Aka: What I’ve been doing instead of working on the comic.
Since forever had I wanted to do my own version of the obligatory “draw all of Freeza’s myriad forms”-picture, but always failed at coming up with a suitable composition. Then, while looking over the 100 themes list, it hit me, all of the sudden. When I read entry 9 I immediately had this picture clear in my head. I also immediately knew that I wasn’t going to utilize my usual cel-shading style for it. A risky experiment, but to say that I’m merely pleased with the results would be an understatement. I have no idea how much of the original theme – drive – still shines through, but this is where I started.
I guess with this painting I finally crossed that fine line between overt fan girl and obsessed fanatic.
In this spirit, let me use that opportunity to advert to a newly formed group, initiated by non other than ~RyunoOhi . If you’re a fan of Frieza, come over and show your loyalty: #FriezaFansofDA

Blah, might rewrite all that tomorrow. So sorry – my english escapes me at the moment, it’s already much too late again. Hope my art at least manages to communicate.
